Who we are

Clear Horizon Management Consultancies L.L.C., a company licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operates clearhorizon.ae and is responsible for determining how and why personal data collected through this website is processed. Our registered address is given in the footer of this website. Contact details for privacy questions and requests are given at the end of this notice.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry through the website, we collect:

  • your name;
  • your company or organisation;
  • your business email address;
  • your phone number, if you provide one;
  • your country and type of organisation;
  • the approximate number of files in scope, if you provide it;
  • the service in which you are interested;
  • the information included in your message; and
  • the date and time of the enquiry.

The website and its security providers also process limited technical information, including your IP address, browser and device information, request data, security signals and technical records used to prevent spam, abuse and excessive submissions.

If you continue the correspondence by email, we also retain the resulting communications.

Please do not include identity documents, financial account information, health information, criminal allegations or other sensitive or confidential personal data in the enquiry form. The form does not accept attachments.

Why we use the information

We use this information to:

  • respond to and assess your enquiry;
  • take steps at your request towards a possible engagement;
  • communicate with you about the requested services;
  • maintain an appropriate record of the correspondence;
  • operate and protect the website and enquiry form;
  • prevent spam, fraud and misuse; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not use information submitted through the enquiry form for marketing unless you separately ask or agree to receive marketing communications. We do not sell personal data.

Basis for processing

We process enquiry information because you have asked us to respond and, where relevant, to take steps towards a possible engagement. This processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We process limited technical and security information as necessary to provide and protect the website and the enquiry form you choose to use.

Where applicable law requires consent for particular processing, we rely on the consent you provide. You may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully.

We may also process or retain information where required by applicable law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Who receives the information

Access to enquiries is limited to people who need the information to respond, administer the website or provide the requested services.

We currently use the following service providers:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and delivers the website, executes the server-side function used to handle the enquiry form, provides the anti-spam check and supports security and rate limiting. Cloudflare processes the information submitted through the form as it passes through that function, together with IP addresses, browser and request information, security signals and technical records.

  • Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) transmits the completed enquiry from the website to our mailbox and processes the information entered in the form together with associated delivery data. Messages sent through our configured domain are routed and dispatched from Ireland (eu-west-1). Resend states that its primary processing operations take place in the United States and that account data, including email metadata, logs and API records, is stored in the United States regardless of the selected sending region.

  • Google LLC, through Google Workspace, provides the mailbox to which enquiries are delivered and stores the enquiry and subsequent correspondence. Personal data may be processed outside the UAE under the applicable Google Workspace terms.

These providers may use authorised subprocessors.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers where reasonably necessary, or to courts, regulators and public authorities where required by applicable law. We do not disclose enquiry information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

International transfers

Some of our service providers and their subprocessors may process personal data outside the UAE, including in Ireland, the United States and other countries in which they operate.

Any such transfer is subject to the safeguards required by applicable UAE law and the relevant providers’ data-processing terms, which incorporate standard contractual clauses for international transfers. Resend is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep the information

If an enquiry does not result in an engagement, we normally retain the enquiry and related correspondence for 12 months after the last substantive communication and then delete it, unless a longer period is required for a legal or dispute-related reason.

If we work together, relevant correspondence becomes part of the client file and is retained for the duration of the engagement and for any additional period required by applicable legal, regulatory, contractual or professional obligations.

Technical security and anti-abuse records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to the relevant providers’ logging and backup cycles.

How we protect the information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. These include HTTPS encryption in transit, restrictions on access to enquiries and controls intended to prevent unauthorised or excessive use of the enquiry form.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, session-recording tools or chatbots.

Website analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how this website is used — for example, which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. It does not use cookies or similar storage on your device and is not used to identify individual visitors or to track them across other websites. Cloudflare may also generate limited operational and security metrics relating to requests made to the website.

Cloudflare may use short-lived security tokens, strictly necessary browser storage or strictly necessary cookies to operate its anti-spam and security functions. These technologies are used for security and operation of the enquiry form, not for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in applicable UAE law, you may have the right to:

  • obtain information about how your personal data is processed and request a copy;
  • request correction or completion of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your information;
  • request restriction or cessation of particular processing;
  • request transfer of your information where applicable;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • object to decisions based solely on automated processing, where applicable.

We do not use information submitted through the enquiry form to make decisions based solely on automated processing.

You may also have the right to submit a complaint to the UAE Data Office in accordance with the applicable procedure.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes to our services, providers or legal obligations. The date shown below indicates when the notice was most recently revised.
